*NOTES:

The prices as stated for ServiceDesk (whether for purchase or support, direct-method or payment-plan) are all what we call the "base."  It's an odd base because, instead going upward from such levels for larger companies, we actually discount downward for smaller companies (anything fewer than 11 techs).  Specific discount formulas are as follows:

On the direct purchase plan, take the difference between your quantity of techs and 11, and multiply the result by $300.  This gives the discount amount, which you may then subtract from $6000 to obtain your net purchase price.  Example: if you have 5 techs, the difference between 5 and 11 is six.  Multiply six times $300 to obtain $1800, which is your discount.  Subtract $1800 from $6000 to obtain your net purchase price, of $4200.

On the contract purchase plan, take the difference between your quantity of techs and 11, and multiply the result by $17.50.  This gives you the monthly-payment discount amount, which you may then subtract from $325 to obtain your net monthly payment.  Example, if you have 2 techs, the difference between 2 and 11 is nine.  Multiple nine times $17.50 to obtain $157.50.  Subtract this $157.50 discount from $325 to obtain your net monthly payment, which is $167.50 -- for 24 months.

Bear in mind that the contract plan (still referring to ServiceDesk, and not the other products) includes two years of support, while the direct-purchase plan includes one (support cost for the second year, plus some interest, are built-in to the payment amount).

Continued support (i.e., after the included period expires) is also subject to discounting for companies with fewer than 11 techs.  Here the formula is the difference between 11 and your quantity of techs, times $2.50.  Example: if you have three techs, your support cost is $30 per month (taking 11 minus 3 for a result of 8, multiplied by $2.50 for a resulting $20 discount, then subtracted from the "base" of $50, for a net of $30).

Regardless of which way you purchase, the discount (if any) is based on size of your operation at time of purchase.  In other words, the purchase price will not increase if you happen (very likely) to grow.  Later support costs, however, are intended to adjust as your size changes.

Aside from a major increase that occurred September '05, our pricing has been largely constant (only the price of the EmailedDispatchReceiver has changed since).

All products are sold with a license for use in a single business only.  This single-entity license is transferable with that business (i.e., if you sell the business, you are permitted to sell your ServiceDesk license with it), or by the licensed owner from any one business he wholly owns to a different business he wholly owns.  It is not otherwise transferable -- either from person to person, or from business to business.
